The self proclaimed “most energetic video game commentator on YouTube”, Jacksepticeye drummed in a heavy-metal band before he ever made a name for himself on YouTube. Jack is a common nickname for Sean in Ireland, and so he went by Jack with friends and family. His YouTube nickname comes from an incident playing football (soccer) which caused him to get an eye wound that later became infected.
Jack’s channel consists mainly of Let’s Play videos and vlogs, but he uploads a variety of interviews, meme videos, and other content. Jacksepticeye has nearly 25 million YouTube subscribers, and over 800,000 followers on Twitch.
